Santa Believing children stop re...So, interesting! Santa Believing children stop reading now! <br /><br />We haven't decided what to do. But here is my experience as a child. <br /><br />My parents did not do Santa at our house. My dad still remembers being bitter with his parents for lying to him as a child about Santa(it coincided with their divorce so there was a trust issue there). So we never had Santa as part of our tradition. <br /><br />As we got old enough, my parents talked about not ruining it for other kids. And we didn't. We didn't feel left out. We just knew our gifts came from parents and grandparents as a way to celebrate Jesus' birth. <br />It really worked nicely for our family. <br />We are toying with the idea in our family now. Not sure what to do, guess we have another year before we decide. <br /><br />oh, and guess what...Christmas was just as magical and wonderful for us as children...even if we didn't believe in the jolly old man from the north pole.Sarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14964368243113634718noreply@blogger.com
