Our advent calendar had revealed that today's activity would be baking cookies. And so it was that we toasted to cookie baking!
The little bakers set out, with the knowledge that the baker's most important role is that of licking the spoon and the bowl absolutely clean at the end.
They had a good taster, who was ready to sample as many oatmeal butterscotch cookies as he needed to...just to be safe.
And then with the tummies full of cookies and whole milk, the sugar induced rumpus began
And the night was very
very 
very
good.
